Two ways in.
Most Rose Bay projects start with a designer at your home. Others open with a phone call. Whichever suits.
We come to you.
A designer visits your Rose Bay home. We listen to how you use the space, look at the room together, and capture the brief. From there we shape the design.

Speak to a designer first. Tell us about the project, the property and what you're hoping to change. Together we'll work out whether the next step is a home visit or a longer phone chat.

The way we work.
We're a small team of interior architects, interior designers and specialised kitchen designers, all in-house. Detail, form and function sit at the centre of what we do.
A project starts with a phone conversation, followed by some desktop research and, most importantly, face-to-face time in your Rose Bay home. We listen, capture the brief, and get to know the existing space. From there, the design package takes shape, with multiple elevations and full material specifications.
Once the design is signed off, a building inspection is arranged. A detailed renovation quote follows.

Your questions, answered.
Do you work on Rose Bay projects?
Yes. Rose Bay is one of the Eastern Suburbs we work in regularly, along with Bondi, Vaucluse, Bellevue Hill, Paddington and Woollahra. First meeting is on site, run from our Sydney Head Office at Randwick.
Kitchens and bathrooms are at the core of what we do; from there, projects often extend into the wider home. In 2025, more than 60% of our work included broader interior renovations.
How does the first meeting work?
It starts with a phone conversation so we understand the project. A short questionnaire follows, mainly to capture what you're hoping the finished space will do, along with any images that inspire you. We also work through existing floor plans and current photos of the home, so we walk into the in-person meeting with genuine context. Often we bring material samples customised to the brief.
For a typical kitchen, the in-home meeting runs two to three hours. We take measurements, work through the layout in the room, and discuss the overall vision and detailed material selections. Drafting your space takes about 10 working days from the first meeting.
How long does a Blue Tea kitchen take?
The design package is delivered within 10 working days of the in-home meeting. If you go ahead with Blue Tea for the kitchen, our Joinery team completes a detailed in-home measure and produces production drawings. From sign-off, manufacture takes about six weeks and install about five weeks. You're without a kitchen for a maximum of five weeks.
What does the 7-year warranty cover?
Yes. We back the kitchen we design and supply with a 7-year warranty, covering joinery, stone and hardware.
Do you design bathrooms?
Yes. Bathrooms are a major part of our offering, especially in full-home renovations. We produce the plan, all the elevations and the material selection. Sourcing is on us. The space comes together properly.
I started my project with an architect. Can Blue Tea pick up where they left off?
We absolutely can. We specialise in interior architecture, anything internal is our expertise: changes to floor plans, lighting plans, finishes, new kitchens, laundries, butler's pantries, walk-in closets, wardrobes. We design, create elevations, provide detailed material recommendations, and support you through the execution phase of the renovations.
Our Rose Bay home has strong outlook and lots of natural light. Do you factor that into the design?
Yes. Natural light and sight lines are part of the first home visit. We look at how the room is used through the day before shaping the layout.
