Every Bellevue Hill project begins with a phone conversation and some initial desktop research. The important step is face-to-face time in your home. We listen, capture the brief, and get to know the existing space. The design package follows: multiple elevations and detailed material specifications.
Once the design is signed off, a building inspection is arranged. From there, we provide a detailed quote for the renovation.

How does the first meeting work?
It starts with a phone conversation so we get a quick understanding of the project. We send through a short questionnaire, mainly to capture what you're hoping the finished space will do, plus any images that resonate. Behind the scenes we look at existing floor plans and current photos of the home, so we arrive at the in-person meeting with real context. Sometimes we bring material samples suited to the brief.
The in-home consultation usually runs two to three hours for a typical kitchen. We use the time to take measurements, work through the layout in the room itself, and talk through the overall vision and specific material choices. Your first draft is ready around 10 working days later.
How long does a Blue Tea kitchen take?
The design package is ready within 10 working days of the in-home consultation. If you go ahead with Blue Tea for the kitchen, our Joinery team runs a detailed in-home measure, then produces production drawings. From sign-off on those drawings, an average kitchen takes about six weeks to manufacture and around five weeks to install. You're without a kitchen for a maximum of five weeks.
What does the 7-year warranty cover?
Yes. Our 7-year warranty covers the kitchen we design and supply: joinery, stone and hardware.
Do you design bathrooms?
Yes. Bathroom design is a significant part of what we do, particularly on full-home renovations. We handle the plan, all elevations and the material selection, taking out the hard work of sourcing and making sure the whole space works together.
I started my project with an architect. Can Blue Tea pick up where they left off?
We absolutely can. We specialise in interior architecture, anything internal is our expertise: changes to floor plans, lighting plans, finishes, new kitchens, laundries, butler's pantries, walk-in closets, wardrobes. We design, create elevations, provide detailed material recommendations, and support you through the execution phase of the renovations.
