Parisian Apartment: Black Kitchen

This Parisian black kitchen is by London based designer Jessica Vedel. Although this kitchen is black, it does not appear to be heavy or dominating in the space. The kitchen sits pulled back from the walls and ceilings. This allows the beautiful detailing on the walls and ceilings to be retained. In contrast to this ornateness, the kitchen is rather minimal. Black textured cabinetry works nicely with the other dominating feature in this space; the marble island. This kitchen is a beautiful balancing act of traditional architecture meeting minimalist interiors.
